CONFUSION INCLUSION〜For You〜

『CONFUSION INCLUSION』は障がい福祉事業所認定NPO法人ポパイのダンス集団ウゴクカラダがオーストラリアの福祉団体ルーセラン・サービスに所属するメンバー、キーストーン・クルーと継続的に実践しているプロジェクトです。”CONFUSION’'は混乱、“|NCLUSION’'は包摂を意味します。知的障害がある・文化や言葉が異なる・共に踊る..そこから生まれる混乱と包摂を、さらにその先にあるものを、感じ取り交換する挑戦を続けてきました。映像 ・音楽 ・ ダンスを融合させた舞台芸術作品を共同制作し、 公演 ・ ダンスワークショップを 2016年度に名古屋で、2017、2018年度にオーストラリアで、2019年度には再び名古屋で公演・トーク交流会を実施。 そして今年度は映像作品を制作しました。数年に渡る連携で生まれた「言葉が通じなくとも互いに思いやる気持ち」や「舞台で共に成し遂げる喜び」。今、離れていて会えない仲間へ思いを馳せて、メンバー1人1人がダンスで表現した「自分の好きなもの」を繋いだ作品です。

“CONFUSION INCLUSION” is a continuous collaboration between the dance groups: Ugokukarada led by the NPO group Popi that provides welfare for disabled people, and the Keystone crew, led by the Australian welfare organization Lutheran Services
“CONFUSION” refers to confusion, “INCLUSION” refers to inclusion. Being intellectually disabled・coming from a place of different culture and language ・ dancing together… They have challenged themselves to feel the confusion and inclusion that is shaped there, and to exchange what is created beyond that.
They have co-created performing arts which are fusion of image・music・dance, and held performances・dance workshops in Nagoya in 2016, in Australia in 2017 and 2018, and a performance・panel discussion in Nagoya again in 2019. For this year, a video artwork has been produced. Progressed from collaborating for many years: “sympathizing with one another even with a language barrier” and the “joy of accomplishing something together on stage”. This performance consists of each member thinking about other members they are unable to see, expressing the “things they like” and connecting them together.
